TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for hemophilia care team members managing patients with hemophilia A, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, and physical therapists.

STATEMENT OF NEED
An estimated 400,000 people worldwide and 20,000 in the US are living with hemophilia. Current treatment approaches include replacement therapy, both prophylactically and to treat bleeding. Yet, despite widespread availability, patients with hemophilia continue to experience the burdens of treatment, breakthrough bleeding, progressive joint disease, and high rates of inhibitor development.

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The France Foundation and the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis. The France Foundation is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians
